My family and I are originally from southern Illinois. We were the first and only from our family to leave our hometown due to a job opportunity for my father in Rensselaer, Indiana. My parents decided to make the jump, leaving everyone they knew and loved behind because they thought it would offer better opportunities for my two brothers and I and I can’t thank them enough for that. The move opened so many doors for us.
For as long as I can remember, my parents taught my siblings and I that hard work will get you wherever you want to be, so I took that lesson and made it my reality. As soon as I was able to get a job, I started waitressing at the age of 14. I continued to do this all throughout my high school career, balancing sports and academics. I always made sure to stay active. I took up gymnastics at a very young age and did this for 12 years until I tried a sport I had never even thought of…diving. From the moment I started I fell in love with it. I was also very successful in the sport breaking every women’s diving record that Rensselaer had and made it to state 3x in a row. I also ran track and participated in hurdles. Among these tremendous blessings, I have met so many amazing people, which leads me to where I am today. Many people noticed my drive and worth ethic and suggested that I a look into real estate. I started to explore the idea of becoming a real estate agent and decided to take the leap and get my license. From the moment I started my classes, I knew it was the career for me.
Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, hiking, bike rides, trying new restaurants, especially little cafés and breakfast places with my mom, and watching the sunset on the beach.
I am so excited to pursue my real estate career in this community and help many great people along the way, working hard to help them find their dream home!
