Art Museum Of Greater Lafayette

Located in downtown Lafayette, the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette has been a staple in the community for well over 100 years. The museum is known to feature a variety of different exhibits at any given time. The museum also offers programs including artist talks, classes, and free concerts, some of which have been held virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Haan Museum Of Indiana Art

Nestled near the corner of South Ninth and State Streets in Lafayette’s historic Ninth Street Hill neighborhood, the 15,000 square foot building was originally known as the Connecticut Building featured at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis. It was relocated to Lafayette after the fair and in 1984, it was purchased by Bob and Ellie Haan. The Haan Museum features a variety of Hoosier artwork including ceramics, paintings, bronzes, and stone sculptures. Antique furniture is also featured in the museum. The backyard features a sculpture garden, and the museum also has a one-mile nature and six-mile mountain bike trail on its grounds.

First Friday Lafayette – Starting May 7th!
New this year, First Friday is a monthly event hosted by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, aimed at boasting Lafayette’s arts and cultural scene, encouraging community support for small businesses located downtown. Round The Fountain Art Fair

The COVID-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of the 2020 art fair, but as of right now, the 48th annual event is scheduled to take place the Saturday before Memorial Day. The art fair features up to 100 artists from around the nation and their work in a variety of different art forms. Proceeds from the event support art programs at local schools and a variety of restoration and enhancement projects around Greater Lafayette.
Art On The Wabash
